In August 2021 ECAB Bike Adventures will be hosting a gravel bikepacking event.
Although this post is not an adversiment for the even there are still places left if you wish to participate.

As a route designer myself I’m very impressed that Roger and co have managed to design such a long bikepacking route with 90% gravel.
From a more laid back bikepacking point of view I think the route looks amazing offering several exit points for those who would like a shorter version of the tour. There are several train stations along the way which allow bicycles on the train ( Gävle for instance )

For the race it’s self the organisers are expecting the riders to make it to Falun in 3 days
with the majority of the field then taking a bus back to Stockholm. ( 522km )
But there are some who will complete the loop back to the start. ( 795km )

The embedded maps shows some places to camp and resupply spots ( mostly petrol stations. )
As always we recommend you filter the water you take out of lakes.
If passing by horse farms please look out for horse riders and excersive caution
